i feel like i should probably make a post (sorry for all of these recently!)
i have DID (split personalities for anyone who doesnt know), and how have others dealt with it before (if anyone else has it?). some of my headmates dont really want to be locked so it just makes it a bit complicated to deal with when someone else is keyholding

OctaviaSunwilds First I’d strongly suggest taking the belt off, while I don’t fully understand the disorder it seems like when one personality that doesn’t want it becomes dominant this would cause all kinds of problems.
I’d also urge you to seek out a therapist or other professional who understands kink related topics. It has done me a lot of good dealing with various things and is probably the safest/smartest option for you

You need to find a qualified medical professional who is also prepared to discuss kink-related things. Such people do exist, although they are not always cheap. Any advice you receive on here will be at best uninformed.

Milord this aspect was unknown to me and make things more complicated than expected. I heard about it today and talked to two personalities now. Got some advice how communicate. Just ending kh may not be the right solution because she may look for another kh who may not be good to her. She is in the belt for two years already probably on her own. Don't know further details. Don't know yet if there will be any right solution. Have to think about it what to do best. Best if she will see a professional expert.

Padre You seem to be mindful. The fact that Octavia didn't tell you is a red flag by itself, but unless you have specific skills, you are putting yourself in a very difficult situation. What if she commits suicide or self-harm? You will be involved, want it or not. Why your desire to help is to be praised, you are risking by yourself

Milord It depends which personality is talking. The person we saw earlier was quite determined that she wanted to be locked. Also talked about wishes, needs, cleaning interval, me time. Today's personality had a different idea and explained the DID. The personalities know each other. At least we can conclude her life hasn't been easy. Best would be to have everything (keys included) in the hands of a qualified expert. How to be sure this will happen in a trustful way that is best for her.

Octavia tells she has seen expert therapists.There is no cure for it (yet). But she learned how to cope with it and get along with the other headmates. Looks like it is what it is and is stable now.

For sure disorders are dangerous and sincerely I think we should not involve in that.
