I think there are quite a few evangelical christians in the US who think there should be no sex before marriage, just as an example. At least these seem to be able to imagine it - unless they secretly rely on loopholes like "anal sex doesn't count".

Don't stone me, but the cb does have an advantage in this topic. If someone is with a girl who wears a cb (and I would have no problem with that) then the partnership is not based on sex. If you wait until marriage, you love the person and not just the sex.

Besides, I don't see it as black as is written here. There are several examples in this forum where the girls didn't wear the cb out of choice, but have come to terms with it and are obviously not mentally impaired.

A lot depends on the people involved. How a girl reacts to the idea of wearing a cb is very different.

But, I haven't read any suggestions here yet that would help @PigtailSam that she hasn't already tried. How can you stop your daughter from making disastrous decisions. Especially since PigtailSam's daughter has certain peculiarities.

Unfortunately, I have to make it clear here again that I am against the forced wearing of a cb and also take a critical view of persuasion.

the question i would rather ask myself is what @PigtailSam has done so far to improve her daughter's behaviour and why it may have failed? but the first step is always, does she know she has a problem? If not, any attempt to solve it will fail

That’s exactly the issue I’m seeing from her thread. If her daughter doesn’t see it or believes it then nothing will work.
Also curious what these actions which could get her in legal trouble are, but even then if she’s not willing to use the belt as a tool it won’t work there either
