That is a problem how exactly?
To me, a forum about belt wearing is broadly going to have two topics discussed.
The first is the mechanical nature of the experience. What we use, how we use it, our rules, our interactions with others, how we cope, whether or not things are going well.
The second will be the personal motivations of the experience. This will by necessity cover the values of ourselves and others. We cannot talk about our agreement or disagreement of values, morals, and beliefs of many people without becoming political, because that is the definiton of politics. Certainly you can implement guidelines to keep discussion civil, but to claim that a large portion of discussion should not focus on it is incompatible with the subject matter.
