the idea is good, but i doubt that it is possible from an organisational point of view.

who should prepare these summaries?
Where should the summaries be read?
And most importantly, what should be in them, i.e. what is considered important?

It would be easier for new users to find the subjects they want to discuss, but difficult to use,yes.

I would add that,even if the summary is done,after some time,it would be outdated and must be edited to add newer topics discussed.

Maybe we can use the "like" function to highlight useful posts?

yes this could be a problem and i also think that it can lead to hard discussions between the users to decide what is important

good idea, i would still not do it because my personal experience speaks against it

i like many posts here, but i usually don't give likes, mostly because i just forget

anyone thought about starting podcast about chastity, yes language maybe a barrier for a few people but people who know english can sure enjoy it.

Laura A discussion would be very difficult to understand if certain comments were removed.
I think it should be the case that everyone who writes something here is also aware that then it belongs to unwedchastity and will not disappear if the member leaves us.

i totally agree with you, it's ok if a user wants to leave us, but the posts should remain. everyone should know that if we write something on the internet, it will stay there even if the user no longer exists

I have to agree too! I once was in a forum, where these posts were deleted. It was a great mess to read

If an account is deleted, can the message stay in place? It would be nice to have helpful tips, but if their personal information is posted publicly, then Laura would have to edit it. There are some topics that are a combination of many other threads, so its difficult to imagine admins and mods organizing daily. This place is great as it is, being accessible to the public. I'm really glad it exists. Plus, it was the best alternative to Mr Poll shutting down mysteriously for a few days.

if you notice that a user who is no longer in the forum has previously deleted his posts, perhaps you could give a small hint so that nobody thinks so Huh?

Why not letting the user decide?

If he/she only want to leave and have his/her account deleted,his/her posts should be left,but if he/she asks to delete it,or delete it himself,it should be allowed.

Even if I agree,it can make some topics harder to read,and understand.

i think for users who don't write here very often it's no problem, but what if someone like you, Sara, Ines or me who write here very often delete the posts, then a lot of things here wouldn't make sense anymore even if @Laura points this out

Sure,but I can understand that someone want to not let everyone know he/she posted here after leaving...For example,fearing it could make en employer discovering it firing him/her or having a new partner who would strongly dislike he/she posted here...
