It's interesting because I had the same idea about the limit of 25 years. I would tend to consider that beyond this age the wearing of the belt becomes indecent.

Also at home in France we had just called "Catherinnettes" girls who are still married to 25 years. I even believe the custom has now been extended to girls who are not in a stable relationship at the age of 25.

I'm sure my father would keep us belted all the time for good if we don't marry. I know if there is no medical reasons against it, my mother has to wear her belt for the rest of her life. I think if I marry Daniel it will be the same for me.
