just because I don't drink much alcohol doesn't mean that I don't go to parties often. if my father agrees, I often go to parties, but I don't drink much there 🙂

i think so too, i generally don't like to lose control (similar to my father) and therefore take good care 🙂

mostly. but my father usually makes it a condition that i am not allowed to be drunk and that he picks me up personally at a predetermined time

Not being drunk is good,having him to pick you up is less good.Who decide when he would pick you up?

I would feel a bit humiliating that my parents come to drive me home when I'm at a party...

but that's not the point. my father doesn't pick me up directly from the party either, but we discuss a meeting point beforehand where i have to come at a certain time. this meeting point is close to the party. it's more about me not going home alone at night

Yes,logical decision.

In my case,I could come home with a friend,but if I'm alone or if the only people who can drive me back home is someone I don't know,or I don't know much,I should call them,no matter how late it is,and they would come to drive me home.
