I'd always recommend a waist-belt for women, though for men it's not so clear - for example my Neosteel Arch rides lower on the hips than any belt I've ever had, but it's the most secure by far.

well, as far as i have read, the difference in safety is not very high.

Jonas I've heard it said too, but am not yet convinced.

I don't know either, but because I don't know, I trust what others who use it say here.

I've heard it said too, but am not yet convinced. I'd err on the side of safety...if a waist belt is narrower than the hip bones it really isn't coming down.

I have only used a on the hip style device. From my stand point. Even with it being a cheap device. It still is quite secure and will not slip down. But than again i wear mine comfortably tight. And i have a butt for it to get past. 🤣

Angelina unfortunately i cannot compare the two as i have not tried a waist style.
As far as the on the hip device i have used. It is very much comfortable.

Fatherof3 In my experience the hip style is much more comfortable, but the fit changes with weight. The waist style (if body shape allows) seems to me to remain secure even with quite radical weight loss.

Jonas yes. That is true. I have had to adjust mine with my weight fluctuations. Usually more than 3-5kg.

i don't have any weight fluctuations, but i'm generally quite thin and i'm afraid the hipstyle belt would press too much on my bones, which could cause pain if i wear it for a longer period of time.

The recommendation is that it should sit as hard as possible, without causing damage to the body.
When ordering, it is good to use a 3-4 cm wide leather belt and tighten it up. Try if it works to have it so hard for three hours. If it works, it is a good measure of the circumference of the waistband on the chastity belt.

I can do that, but any belt should be tight (not too tight, of course) to be secure.

we tested it with a tape measure, took the whole thing by feel and then read off the measurements.
