Max9 Well, depends on how much of renovations you have someone do it or you do it yourself with some relatives or friends. Make a big difference there, of course, if you are male of female, I believe (no offence✌). In my family the male family members always do any renovation that we can possibly do... fixing the roof, building garages, fixing the pipe systems, building a costum made kitchen unit, and anything elsr you can imagine. That's a lot cheaper than if you need a contractor for anything.
There is some people,skilled in such works,and with skilled friends in different domains needed(electricity,plumbing,masonry,etc...),who can only buy the place and build the whole house themselves,but it needs a lot or work,time,and skills.
But it would be cheaper than buying an already built house.
