In "the Marriage of Figaro"(not sure of the english title),there is a "right of cuissage"(the right for the lord of someone of a lower class to be the first in the bed of the newlywed woman,during the wedding night),presented in the book as common in Middle-Ages,but I read(or watched,I don't remember)something about it,telling it was not used at all,even if some nobles may have tried to put it in their laws(but nothing prove it).
