Just a reply to some of the ideas which keep getting quoted, usually from a fiance or father. One was that "sloppy thinking" arrives at the idea of gender equality. I was one of the original feminists of the Equal Rights Amendment movement in the 1970s, I helped fund the group of lesbian feminists who chained themselves to the Illinois Capital building in Springfield IL in protest. The cause may have been wrong, but the period was exciting as it began the Gay Rights movement as well, which seems to be taken for granted here. I marched in Chicago's first Gay Pride Parade at age 14. When the Leather Pride Flag was created in the late 1980's that created a new section at the end of every Pride parade and i often held the flag or one side of the banner for that. The books "The Feminine Mystique" by Betty Friedan and, before that, Simone de Beauvoir's The Second Sex were critical to at least two generations. Backlash by Naomi Wolf chronicled the intellectual and emotional retreat back into the patriarchy from the exhilarating pinnacle of social agreement on the status of women. What few people realize are the findings of "When God Was a Woman" and how they are being bolstered recently by all the new findings in Cultural Anthropology from Anatolia/Asia Minor (Turkey). It's hard to be accurate when giving sound bites, but the basic idea is that we have hominids until 5 million years ago in bands of 70 to 120. This continues into the old stone age until circa 10,000 years ago with the hunter/gatherer lifestyle one still sees in the Amazon or Outback aboriginal lifestyles. Gender roles are not simply male dominant at all. Women are magical because they give birth. Men are not magical because they are not related to babies in any way at all. Sex is "the opening of the way," necessary but hardly magical. No one has a father.

The idea the agriculturalists had, the neolithic anatolians had, and that you still find in Hopi, Zuni, Taos, Acoma, Jemez, Zia, Santa Domingo, and all other New Mexico/Arizona Pueblos, is that the sexuality of women is not just linked to the fertility of the land. It is the same thing. "The Hopi Land IS the Hopi religion." (hopi elder). So in the clan system your mother's clan is your clan because you (still) do not have a father. When your "father" marries your mother she spends the time until she conceives having sex with perhaps 2 dozen men not in her (mother's) clan because those men are all her brothers, and they give her advice (that guy is a loser, this one is likely to abuse you, etc.) So the baby is truly of unknown patrimony. No man can say "that's my boy" when he wins a race. If a man did, that would be taboo -- it would mean that he had controlled his wife's sexuality after his marriage to her, which would mean that he had actually Cursed the land of the people. He would be exiled, the same thing as killed. But he would never do that. The whole honor based on your wife being faithful thing is simply not there. Where does it come from, this insane (to them) idea. Btw, I was practically inducted into this pueblo religion and saw many rituals normally closed to white people. What is "honor"? I lived in Saudi Arabia. They think we are crazy in the West to give women so much freedom. Including you all, all you ladies! There are anthropological papers on this. A little rock hut and a herd of 30 goats? Nothing but his honor. What did he ever have of value? Sons have intrinsic value which cannot be lost. When they marry there is no issue. But when the daughter marries, rumor can make her value nothing. In Lebanon but also in Greece, there is no difference at all. If she dates a man before marriage, even if she does not run off, rumor can say she slept with him. The arranged marriage to a man (always always) from another village, who has never met her can be ruined by the rumor. So the strict ideas and the gender inequality are based on the hebrew science project to transfer property (what? pots? goats? not much!) and the honor system to ensure that this marriage does not get canceled. What relevance today? The girl earns her own money often enough. More women in college today than men in USA. In the information age, woman can and will out-earn the men, just as in the new stone age from 10,000 bce to 3000 bce. Men will be the strong types good for working the fields, but we have machines now. So they will be the police and firemen we are going to de-fund because they are not smart enough to do the college educated mental health pathology needed for the homeless they currently beat up and toss in jail to feel good. We all have Neanderthal blood. But for centuries women have selected the big men with the most Neanderthal blood as guardians, as the best men. Those men believe in gender inequality and consider clear thinking sloppy thinking because, as Neanderthals, they cannot read the books I mentioned. Not do not, cannot. Nor can they read the truly difficult books like Zein und Zeit, L'etre et le Neant, which defined my life. The most important and most difficult of the last century by far, including Einstein and Hawking. Men who say that being rich means you are smart, one of the least intelligent statements ever made. These are the men who want to dominate you women. Now, as a sissy I understand the attractions of dominance and submission, but i prefer the dominant person to be intelligent, sensitive, and someone who performs therapy in every single step of the domination. I was abused as a kid -- the very best reason to want/need to be dominated as an adult, the need for psychological "Mastery" as an adult. Been posting this in the sissy chastity fora and getting applause for the etiology. But doing it as if there is a biological superiority associated with male plumbing -- we have been under male dominance for a shorter time than we were under female dominance. The time under female dominance -- we think -- had zero wars and no famine. The time under the "prince of peace" has had zero months without war. The same time under "athiestic" china using relatively feminine philosophies like Confucius and Lao Tzu had zero wars until the western colonizers arrived and created civil wars. One can seriously see China before 1750 as a survival part of the old days before 4500 bce -- in philosophy at least. "The weak overcomes the strong" (the Tao). Would that be "sloppy thinking?" it produced 2000 years of peace as compared to 2000 years of war, 6 million dead hebrews, the burning of the Talmuds in 1240 ce, and countless atrocities no one remembers like the 1096 final solution murder ot 60,000 hebrews, every hebrew in eastern Europe. I'll take the female-led world we used to have. I think it would be nice if men (alone) could not touch themselves and had to please their female partner before getting any pleasure. Our pleasure is so trivial in comparison anyway it's like a blue light bulb compared to the summer sun at noon, and it's 4 seconds compared to 12 hours.
