Christine Or she is a victim of manipulation thinking it's her decision.
Good point. But then again manipulation is merely putting pressure on some one by presenting limited choices in such a way that they will choose to do the thing you want. When you think about it, that is life.
None of us control the life circumstances that we are born into, nor the innate talents we have. The more natural talent you have the greater you opportunities will be to change your starting circumstances. As the Americans are fond of saying "life is a crap shoot"! We are all manipulated in childhood, school, college, our careers and our relationships. Some have to work harder than others to make a better life untangling and choosing between those choices. Its the luck of the draw.
This is why I have learned not to judge others choices. The only thing I can do to relieve my conscience is to recognise when I too am manipulating someone and try to give them as wider set of choice a possible so that they can live the lives they want, rather than the ones I want for them.
Good keyholders should remember that.
