carg actually quite the opposite... It's a great occupation for travelling. I spent most of my 20s overseas. Usually I'll go to somewhere in Asia for the dry season, which is our winter so it works out well for me!

There are places that are sports oriented, like rock climbing destinations in Thailand or surf camps in Indonesia, so you can do cashies off the beach if you want to live frugally. I can live quite simply up there, I don't need much to get by.

At the other end of the scale almost every luxury resort wants a yoga teacher, so I've done seasons in Fiji, Laos, Turkey etc.

I've been to most countries in Europe and Asia, a couple in Africa and a good chunk of the Middle East. I came back at the start of COVID and I'll probably be staying put for a while now though. :-)

Sin Ah, I get it. I was thinking about your own school, but of course holiday resorts and destinations are a lot better for short-term teaching. I was thinking that I wouldn't want to choose a teacher to teach me Tai Chi if I knew (s)he would be gone by next year, but would consider doing some yoga on a retreat or during a holiday.
But you'd be mostly teaching novices, I assume, so not getting much further than the basics. Of course with yoga you don't have a form with fixed movements (like the kata's in karate), so you might be more free in varying the lessons.

Ah, so you were smart/lucky enough to be back in time before the lockdown.

But gradually getting back to the topic, I assume you don't bring your collection of corsets along to the beach in Thailand 😉 So you have something of a home base that you travel from? You mentioned several corsets, so you probably built a fair collection; does it also contain a neck corset?

carg lol no, I definitely don't take my toys on holiday... Although I've certainly come home with some interesting luggage after visiting Europe!

And yes, I have a posture collar. 😅

I'm based in Oz. Australia is pretty conservative in comparison. Shopping in Germany is waaaay more fun.

Re. Yoga... There's actually not a huge amount of difference between beginners classes and advanced classes. You just offer variations and people stop at the point where they are comfortable. The experienced ones just go a little deeper into it. But you're right, most people just want a nice, safe stretch to start or finish the day. So no crazy headstands or anything like that!

LOL, you should come to Amsterdam once! If you want extreme corsets, do a search for 'Jeroen van der Klis', who has a shop there.

I love the Netherlands... I wish you guys stuck a flag in when you discovered Australia. Something tells me we would be far more progressive without the conservative religious wackos we've got running the show now. It's like Trump 2.0 down here.

My guess is that the recent posts in about two thirds of the most active topics have no relation to the title anymore. That makes it hard to find specific information, especially for new members. We discussed this, and found no good solution. The best I could come up with is to advice anyone who feels a topic is drifting away too much, to request a moderator/admin to split off the off-topic posts into a new topic (or move them to an existing topic, if there is a relevant one).
(But I haven't followed my own advice yet 😅 )

At first,I thought it would last a bit more than usual(2 weeks to 1 month),as my parents didn't tell me for how long I would have to wear it.

Does a corset fit under your belt?
I never wore a corset, all the more some bodice, or "corset inspired" dress, but I think that you can not dress both things properly.
maybe with my FS, you could try, but the hip part would not be pretty, I think

It is dependent on the belt. If it a waist type the belt would normally not fit over the corset and under it would be unpleasant. You would need a adjustable belt or a wider belt.
If it a hip type it dependent on the corset. E.g. A riding corset is not cut too low and the belt would be nearly not covered from the corset.

if the corset is under the CB, then it is impossible to take the corset off and if it is over it, it is probably not tight enough. i think the combination does not really fit well
