She doesn’t want to rush anything, because in her words aside from being foolish, she’s not looking for my father’s replacement or a quick fling she’s looking for her next life partner.

You can't safely predict the future and what choices will be made, particularly by her and/or (overeager) mates, lovers .... Whatever plans may unfold, be prepared to unfold appropriate solutions. Consequentially, if you can easily include cheap but potentially priceless upgrades, do it.

Sorry I completely missed your question.
No, I haven't been on an actual date in my new equipment. Still adjusting to it all and how I can mange various situations, exceptions, and the future in it once a serious relationship develops.
But my test dates have gone well enough. The gear creates a whole list of challenges, but I can't believe how nervous I am talking to someone on a date now! And these aren't even real dates yet!
