For parents, ’d definitely recommend talking to your sons about them being locked in exchange for benefits (larger allowance, more freedom elsewhere, etc) and I saw someone mention a points system which would be nice?
But if your son doesn’t want to, definitely don’t force them unless they are doing extremely bad behaviours (drugs, unprotected sex, etc)
For teen boys like me, you might be reluctant at first but tbh i’m glad I went through with it, though it will definitely be uncomfortable initially. Comfort wise, I find the smaller the cage, the better it fits, and I shave once a week for both better comfort and hygiene. Jockstraps or other strap belts help to hold in the cage better (esp if you do sports or sleep on your side a lot)
