Saintprudence That doesn't seem silly at all! I'm in my 40s and wearing the belt made me feel younger and more protected for the same reasons. Growing older means being burdened with more and more responsibilities, and being placed in the belt made me feel like some burdens had been lifted from me.
I am also in my 40s, my last 40, and look, after being a mother I already had the "maturity" chip, almost entering the age of being a grandmother and suddenly in some things I feel like a teenager, protected, supervised and even with a little fear of being caught in a mischief!
One thing that has surprised me is that my niece adapts much better to this lifestyle than my daughter, despite the fact that my niece has had a more unexpected experience. The girls there are much more protected, and she tells things that remind me more of my 15 years than of my daughter's.
