Michael No matter what you mutually agree on I agree on the fact that proper wearing has to be trained beforehand.
Then there should be enough trust between the wearer and the keyholder and therefore I would prefer option 4.
well, i'm generally not a fan of these waiting periods, i think it could be solved differently. during the training a postponement or even a cancellation should be possible at any time, afterwards it should only be possible in clearly defined emergencies. i prefer fixed periods of time because i think that a decision has to have consequences. and i don't think one year is too much.
of course, there must still be repeated discussions, the key holder must support the wearer morally, but must also point out the agreement again and again.

everything concerning the belt has to be discussed with the keyholder, that is important. no solo entry should take place without prior discussion. if, as in some cases here, the husband is the keyholder, it is again especially important to decide everything together.
By the way, I agree with @Ines and @Sara2001. if my spouse doesn't care what I do, then I shouldn't be married to him/her any more.
