I think is not exactly, I mean:
For example, getting supper in home, my mom talks about, for example, a problem with one of her workers, and we, daughters hear her and talk about the situation, my father "maybe you should... " 😂.
It is because when they talk about a problem is when they need some help to solve it.
At the end "men explaining" is not due they think we are not able people, but because the act this way when hear someone telling a problem.
