That's not what I want. I prefer to remain in the belt, whenever I'm supposed to, however I would like to have a way to take it off without parents if case of, say, misunderstanding.

BikelockFugitive What's your lock btw? And how did you even try to open it? If you did it right you would've done it in 30 seconds, without the need of any fancy lockpicks. They are just for lazy people, or people like me who need them for work.

The my steel one,delivered with the belt,nothing special.I tried a hairpin and a screwdriver,but not much,especially due to the consequences if I managed it.It was more a way to release my frustration by feeling I tried to get free when I choose,even if not tried much.

Renita means if I live separately I could have that nice lock picking tool ready while parents think I'm in the belt all the time. Basically it makes sense and wouldn't break a relationship with them. But I'm afraid I'm not skilled enough to pick the lock properly.

No,only inserted the hairpin or the screwdriver,not used both.But,as I said,I only did it a bit to release my frustration.

Megan Megan I do this since I am 10. I used to lockpick these padlocks couples put on bridges and sell them.
Instead of a hairpin and a screwdriver just use some wire. That makes it easier to enter the lock. Then you just need to push the locks up and turn them, maybe give the lock to a locksmith so they can make you a key for when you are getting frustrated.

Those are cheap larger locks. These are small very precise locks. No way that works on what I have. Long irregularly shaped key very complicated

She needs to be able to lock it back and do it all the time. The car is best suited for this.

Megan The technique always works, it just requires more fiddling and a little more skill to do so.
Locksmiths do this since about forever and many could get you out of your belt easily, all while making you your own key for it.

1.) Hollow out a book and store it in there, you know the kind. Boring looking, far to damn thick to lift up, always with a layer of Dust on top. They are perfect.
2.) Dismantle a light and plant it behind it.
These places are rarely searched 🙂

Renita I think having your own car is very American. Non of my friends owns his own car, car taxes and insurance and maintenance is just to expensive. Even an old car costs hundreds of euros a month.
