My second problematic situation took place during my first student internship in one of the offices. At the end of the day, the head of the department told me to urgently take the files of the proceedings to the administrative court. I did not expect such a situation, so I had a belt on. Due to the approaching end of office hours, I did not have time to call one of my parents to bring me the key. So I went to court in a chastity belt. When I entered the court, I thought I was going to have a heart attack of stress. Fortunately, the official ID badge made security let me in unchecked. They just asked me if I was okay. 😉 However, I did not want to take any more risks, so since then, during all internships, I do not wear a belt.

You are lucky, that you are allowed to. For me, it's hard to go anywhere without the belt now. Fortunately, I don't work in justice.

It works a bit both ways. It is true that my mother sets the rules for wearing the belt and I follow them, but she must shape them in such a way that the belt is not excessively annoying for me, because then I will give up wearing it, and thus my mother will lose the protection of my virginity.

When I started wearing the belt seriously, I gave my mother power over my sexual freedom, but I'm not going to extend that power. Mom doesn't want it either.

My level of control comes from my dating without belt attempts. Mom knows that I disagree and tries to eliminate possibilities. @Sabina , however, did have this conversation yet.

"Excessive" is a moot point. A chastity belt always annoys you. I have to wear it for work including corporate events, evening dress and high heels.
If I had an internship, I would have to too. If I need to go to a court building occasionally, I would probably have an emergency key in sealed envelope.

Same for me. Initially I could ask her to unlock the belt for almost any reason, it's not possible now.

I found myself in a similar situation once. I was to meet someone for business. To help me find his office, we met at the entrance to their parking garage and went into to the building. There, I learned I would have to go through a metal detector. I did not outwardly panic but inside I was afraid of how this would turn out. I went through the detector and set off the alarm. They asked if I had any weapons and I said that I had a multitool. I took that out of my pocket and they had me go through again. Alarm again. They asked if I had any other metal and I said I had a medical belt around my waist. (I think this is sort of true). They did a patdown and felt the belt at the side of my waist and did not check any further. I was allowed into the building without any further issues. It probably helped that the person I was meeting was standing there waiting for me. He did not ask about the medical issue if he heard me tell them about it. Since then, if I have had to go through that sort of security, I just tell them in advance that I have a medical belt. No one has ever asked to see it. It helps them that there are no bulges that could be a weapon. Airports are a different matter.

TSA can be funny about chastity belts. I am allowed to remove mine for airport security but have to relock before boarding the airplane and verify with a photo. I am sometimes asked what it is when it goes through the x-ray but not always. I did once show it to a supervisor (on a slow day), he knew what is was. I asked if I could have worn it and he said yes but it would be extra work for the checkpoint to screen me after it was detected by their metal detector. His advice was I could waer it but he wished I wouldn't.

It was a federal office building but this was before 9/11 and it did not occur to me that there would be metal detectors for building security. I had been in this building before when there was a Government Printing Office bookstore on the first floor.
I mostly try to avoid metal detectors. I am not really worried about people finding the belt. I am not doing anything wrong by wearing it. It just takes longer going through the line because of the extra inspection.
I have been to the local courthouse for jury duty and they questioned the alarm from the belt on the first day but accepted the medical explaintion. They just waved me through after the alarm the rest of the week. (This is not good security but I did not think this was the time to point that out)
