i disagree and agree with @carg, we have had this discussion a few times. i agree that in the worst case one should break the relationship with the family, but it should always be the last resort and not the first.

You did not get the point. I did not say she should go to the police I pointed out that the relation ship is already broken when the parents put her in pelt without consents.
I think this important because she can't fix the situation only cover the damage.

i get the point, but i don't really agree. the relationship is not broken because of it. it's a wrong decision, but because of that i would never question the whole daughter/parent relationship, it's wrong, but nothing that can't be fixed or mitigated again

carg there is no way you can totally avoid them, try at the very least to come to an agreement with your parents to only wear them at the times you are most likely to try and circumvent the belt, like when you are alone in your room, or in bed. Not wearing them out of the house will avoid some of the harder challenges, at least.

Avery That seems to be the case with just about every set of parents here. They do no talk to the children and try to instill their own morality in them

Mine didn't know - like I'm not defending - but I see they regret how it was at the beginning. And for especially mum it was really emotional and like they tried to make it ok by saying I promised and never thought properly about it all.
