Many peopme tend to have a slightly different modification of their brain that causes them to tend to surrender addiction: Cigaretts, Alcoholism, Games or Sex / Masturbation. There's no therapy against this except for abstinence, like the anonymous alcoholicans do it. You can take anti-depression pills, they lower the sex drive, but that doesn't solve the ptoblem and has other side effects as you would take pill against something you don't suffer from to benefit from the side-effect... not advisable.

One must differentiate between the various forms of addiction. Cigarettes and alcohol are physically addictive, whereas gambling or sex addiction are mental problems.
Of course, every addiction is an individual problem and so it must be treated individually. The goal is to manage the urge and not to be managed by the urge.
Everyone is confronted with this problem to a greater or lesser extent and has to learn this. But some are driven by it and become addicted.

i think therapy is better, the belt can be an additional tool, but it cannot replace it. i would also not recommend withdrawal to anyone who is addicted to drugs without the support of a psychiatrist.

I am not going to start discussing what is physically addictive and what is psychologically addictive.
When an alcoholic stops, he must never drink another drop of alcohol, otherwise he starts all over again. Other forms like gambling addiction or sex addiction are only a problem of the psyche and if you have that under control you can live well with it, play games and have sex.
