“Chastity belt tattoo” is a term that is used rather loosely by tattoo artists to refer to any sort of art work between a woman’s navel and her vulva.

I’m most cases, the art is applied only to the front of the woman’s body. It doesn’t generally encircle her entire pelvic region, although in some cases it does.

In most cases, the artwork is only vaguely suggestive of a chastity belt, and there is no intention to create a literal depiction of one, though in some cases they do.
