I think you are correct. Thank you for the support. These are some of the reasons that I am a wearer. Focus, definitely, reduce sex drive, somewhat but certainly keeps it under control.

Angelina From reading your writing, I think (only my opinion) that your father represented parental authority which is difficult for young people to resist and he made sort of reasonable arguments for you to wear a belt. As you get more mature, it is easier to see viewpoints beyond those of your parent and develop ideas of your own. The arguments for wearing are less important now that you are married. With a healthy, loyal, committed partner, going longer than a week would be unimaginable.

Tjc Several people have discussed wanting ro having to wear a belt to help concentrate on studies . In some cases, good performance in school earned breaks from time in the belt.

HHelen You are definitely correct. Wearing a chastity belt is not a solution. It is only a tool that can help reduce some of the activities that can become distractions from a goal, in this case, good academic performance.

Milord some of your points I. The other post may be valid. Some are not. My daughter is a bit different and I would rather not speak about some of it on a public forum. That being a said, she does have impulse control issues and is not able to always make good decisions for herself. Choices like unprotected sex can ruin her life. Some of her mental issues make impossible to tech her how to make the correct decisions and she likely will always need someone careing for her (weather it be me or a husband)

PigtailSam Here I will comment just on physiological aspects. A chastity belt will not protect from impulsive behaviour. Yes, it will prevent vaginal intercourse, but anal or oral sex with equal or increased STI risks may ensue, and your BDSM toy is no good against that. Also, time spent thinking about sex (instead of algebra) will increase when you're belted and horny. If you don't believe me, just try it out yourself. Not to adjust your sexual behaviour, just to understand what having your body locked away does to you.

A chastity belt is not. And let’s talk about the best scenario. She submit, complete her studies, and then? You keep her belted all her life? You free her and she will probably have a lot of sex, having lost any control?

Let’s suppose nothing happens, when she will build her life, someone, a boyfriend, an husband, friend, will point out she has been abused, what kind of relationship will you have?

And this is the best scenario: other possibilities are that she tell your friends that her mother forced her into a chastity belt. Can you imagine the scandal
Or what if she goes to a teacher? Or to the police. They will have to open the belt
What if she plainly sue you for abuses? You will probably have to pay a great sum of money.

And in all this cases your relationship will be devastated. Are you ok in losing your daughter?
