the example of @Lukas schwester is actually the only way i see to achieve better performance through the belt. it is based on earning breaks from the belt through good grades, but there is a clear difference. @Luka's sister wanted to do the whole thing herself, she did it voluntarily to be able to regulate herself better and to have motivation to learn, that doesn't work in your case as long as your daughter doesn't do it of her own motivation.
