It is absolutely necessary to make safe our belt. Kneel, arch our back, suck in our tommy and down a bit the belt to gain a bit space under the shield is an old trick.
So I guess if you parents are worried about, I think they can purchase them.
With a chain is not terrible at all. Your world turns more ladylike.
