I think it is nearly impossible to think about every possibilities,it can always have unexpected things...But better to limit the risks.

no it usually makes no sense, it almost always remains at the same penalty

the only exception is when I admit my misconduct voluntarily, then I get a little relief from the punishment 😉

It's not good you can't tell him before he asks.

He should ask something like "Have you something to tell me?",when you come home,to let you admit a misbehavior.Of course,if you tell him "No." and he discovers a misbehavior later,the punishment would be more severe.

if i say no i get punishment for lying and that would be worse than any punishment for misconduct 🙁

but he doesn't ask this question, because he wants to be fair, if he suspects something he addresses me specifically

I don't think it is very fair,as you haven't a way to tell him what you did before he asks the questions,and so,can't get a lighter punishment for admitting your misbehavior...

of course I can confess my misconduct to him, he only asks a special question if he has a concrete suspicion, therefore I use this possibility also more often

Oh,ok,so it's good that way.You can tell him what you did and get a less severe punishment if you want,before he starts to ask questions.I understand you use it,it is probably the best choice.
