Its already signed. But they didn’t start on Monday because they still said that they are not ready so they started on Tuesday. Kind of wrote a blog to keep track.
Day 1:
The day started at 6:00 AM when my dad woke me up. We had breakfast together as usual, but after breakfast, everything changed. I had to do the dishes, and then, as per the contract, I had to stand in front of my parents and my brother to show that the cage was still on and locked. It was a bit uncomfortable, but I knew it had to be done. My brother immediately started laughing when he saw the cage. It wasn’t funny to me, but there was nothing I could do except accept it.
Once everything was done, I was allowed to go to the university. I was out the whole morning and came back around 2:00 PM. When I entered the living room, only my mom and my brother were there, my dad was still at work. I put my bag down and said that I was going to change clothes.
But my mom looked at me seriously and said I didn’t need to change. From now on, I was only allowed to wear underwear in the house. It felt really strange. I gave her a confused look, but my brother immediately started laughing and made some comments. “Guess you’re just going to walk around like that all day?” he said, still laughing. I could see the seriousness in my mom’s eyes, though, and I knew there was no arguing. So, I did what she said, even though I felt really uncomfortable about it.
My mom then told me that my dad would be home around 4:00 PM, and in the meantime, I needed to clean the bathrooms and mop the floors. I spent the next two hours making sure everything was spotless. While I was mopping, my brother made sure to tell me exactly how to do it, trying to get under my skin. He kept saying things like, “You better do it properly, or you’ll be stuck doing it again,” and kept commenting on how weird it was that I was just in my underwear. I tried to ignore him, but it was hard with his constant teasing.
At 4:00 PM, my dad came home, and we all had lunch together. After lunch, at 5:00 PM, we went grocery shopping. I had to load the cart, put everything in the car, and then bring everything inside. But when I didn’t put things away properly or quickly enough, I received a strong punishment. My parents were angry, but they told me I had to redo everything. I had to go through each item, take it out of the cabinet, and put it back in the correct place. Then, to make sure I understood the importance of doing things right, then i had to kneel for 20 minutes in the corner. That wasnt nice at all.
After that, I went to my room, studying for the rest of the evening. It wasn’t easy, but I knew that the whole day was about proving I could handle the rules and discipline.
It was a hard but also a valuable day. I can already see that the rules and strictness are helping me take more responsibility. Even though it’s not always easy, I can feel it’s making me more disciplined, and I realize I really need it.
