Laura I agree with Angelina that you are an awesome Admin. However I just think that there isn't a need for "Marxism" or this thread to have its own discussion.

You could for example make it so these extreme OT posts have their own "folder" in which you can find them. So they don't end up at the top of the forum. (Think about xenforo, how they handle this problem)

That's why we have "Offtopic" primary tag.

I can create a separate primary tag, topics inside it never appear in the main list and you can see them only under that tag. Is it what you mean?

That's not a problem, that's what split is for 🙂 If some offtopic raises a separate discussion, better to let it go and then split or merge to an appropriate topic.

Its a screenshot, no worries. I kinda thought of this. A folder where you can only find the irrelevant stuff.
Your idea might work too tho. I dunno was just a pitch of mine.

And Laura is managing very well. For me she split threads very accurately, that makes easier locate a theme.

But we then need to remove the "offtopic" from all discussions that have quite a lot to do with CBs and are useful.

BikelockFugitive Or we can rename "Offtopic" to something better. I have created "General" and "Offtopic" initially without thinking carefully about future layout. Now it's time to revise.

Personnally I have no problems with splits,even if I sometimes forgot where I read some parts of a discusion(but not posting everyday doesn't help).

It takes me a lot of time(too much...)to answer,but it is mainly because I tend to read all topics and often anwser at least a few sentences.

I've no problems with how Laura manage it,even if I'm curious to know how she'll plan to manage tags.
