I have seen other forums with such functionallity and I cannot recommend it. It is helpful for trolls who only post crap and never add to a topic, but if you just don't like someone's views etc this add on can really break the whole forum, because people respond to posts you no longer see. You miss out on maybe subtle parts of answers that spawn new side topics or divert the original topic into a new and unexpected direction.

It's a good idea but perhaps ordinary users should not be able to block the site controller's posts.

I haven't read this long theat so I don't know if it's been addressed before. But is there no possibility to add a scrollbar in the posts of a user? There are power users here that I would like to ask things but I don't want to ask a question for the 100th time. However, I would certainly need a week to get to the old posts.

since I'm also one of the "power users" I can tell you that I'm happy to answer every question for new users. the most important thing is in my profile text 🙂
What exactly would a scrollbar use? Do you mean a date that you can then click on for the users or what kind of function do you mean?

In a normal thread, there is a scrollbar on the right with which you can select a particular post or you can click to go to the beginning or the end. I also find such a thing good in the overview of the posts in the user profile.

This suggestion of mine was also aimed at finding older post faster. @Angelina however with so many post as with you it helps not only to change the order to find more than only the oldest post

can you explain why you want to do this? i would find this very negative, you are just starting a discussion, you have no ownership in this discussion. for such things @Laura and @Ines are in charge.
