Philip Angelina it was in relation to a thread I started that descended into something else. Ines sorted it out.
Ines Philip Ines sorted it out. I did it because I thought it was your desire, and certainly few people was helping you. If I misunderstood you, sorry, @Philip .
Angelina Philip it was in relation to a thread I started that descended into something else. Ines sorted it out. i understand that and i don't want to blame you, the problem is if the thread creator could stop the threads at any time the free discussion would be severely restricted because the thread could be stopped just because the creator doesn't like the opinions
Philip Ines No what you done was what i wanted. I seen the thread was getting ugly and i though how can i stop this. my 1st idea was can the person that makes the thread can they stop it. once i knew that was not going to work i asked for help.
Max9 It kind of seems like @Ines is the olny active moderator here, for quite a time now. I'm not saying she's doing a bad job at all, but at she once mentioned she'd like to tak a time out quite a time ago, maybe we can find a way to release her from the pressure of staying up to date in all discussions all the time by making a second person moderator. What do you guys think? @Laura
Avery Max9 What do you guys think? @Megan has been active within the past two weeks. Likely she'd be willing to step up if there is indeed a need. And @Laura is around.
Ines Max9 @Bryan is mod currently, and in next future, he will be the main one. Max9 I'm not saying she's doing a bad job at all Oh! You would not be the only one saying that! 🤠I have a huge group of "fans".
Angelina Ines @Bryan is mod currently, and in next future, he will be the main one. a good decision, also to relieve you a bit. i assume that it is because of your studies, much success 😃
youdontknowme Joh Sometimes that discrepancy comes from getting many likes on a single post. You get a notification for each like, but a new link only comes up once per post unless you clear your pending notifications.
Joh Laura I know that if I scroll-down and wait more will come. But this time it is not this phenomenon. And I watched it several days and all the time the numbers didn't match. Anyway, it is not important.
Angelina @Laura i had an idea in the last days, when i go to a user's profile, i see the newest posts first. Is there a way that I could also see the oldest posts first? Is this technically feasible?
Mr-TM Mr-TM In a normal thread, there is a scrollbar on the right with which you can select a particular post or you can click to go to the beginning or the end. I also find such a thing good in the overview of the posts in the user profile. This suggestion of mine was also aimed at finding older post faster. @Angelina however with so many post as with you it helps not only to change the order to find more than only the oldest post
Angelina Mr-TM however with so many post as with you it helps not only to change the order to find more than only the oldest post i know, knowing my story, of course i was talking about other users, it would be interesting to see the development over the months/years of some users 😉
Ines Tabletop Display on mobile is very poor. For that I ask to Laura when I want to split a thread, I can not do it with mobile version.
Laura Tabletop I guess most crucially there’s a search function missing or maybe i just don’t see it on mobile? "Search forum" on the left pop-up menu where you log in Ines Display on mobile is very poor. Well, I'm not happy with Flarum either
