i agree, but in my post i did not distinguish between sex in a relationship and casual sex. of course one has to differentiate. but there is a general connection (in my opinion).

Actually there is no connection whatsoever between masturbation and sex with person which you do not love. As much as drinking water does not mean that you will drink poison.
One who self harms himself doesn't necessarily harm others.
Masturbation is a totally private conduct which has nothing to share with having casual sex.

Committing an act, masturbation, does not mean that you also have the will to have casual sex.
Almost everyone masturbate and get sex, usually in this order because it is easier to do the first deed than the second for 11-13 years old. But it does not mean that the first will bring to the second. The first is something you do when you cannot do the second which you already desire.
