It's because of the conversion to HTML witch modificate this aspect.
In the colorful original version the data stand out much better and it is easier to read as you may have noticed in the picture

About my current situation - it's almost the same. I got used to wearing it, just slowly became a part of daily routine (though i still hate it as much as before though). Still have to wear it at homE only, but a few times I had to wear the belt outside because mom wasn't home to unlock me. I talked with my mom after having to wear it outside, and it seems like she considers making me wear it permanently (she didn't say that directly, so i'm not sure, and i don't want to ask her directly about it).
