Wearing a chastity belt may physically stop a girl from masturbation and increase her safety when it comes to sexual assault, maybe. But it wearing a metal belt isn't going to do much to prevent excessive sexuality or other levels of inappropriate behavior. Struggles with concentration are also not going to go away (will possibly get worse at times) when you are wearing a belt. Chastity belts are a pretty modern invention (last few decades at best) and while they have their benefits, wearing metal underwear is not going to address a number of things you identify.

Remember, chastity belts didn't really exist in those times. Obediance was more caused by some very strict limits on what girls could do - limited time outside home, supervised activities, required study time, strict dress codes, chores, obedience tests and severe punishments for disobeying. So, less than the girls wanted to be calm than they learned to be silent and quiet and do as told. Now there are girls and ladies your age and older who still get treated like this, want it and like it (or at least tolerate it). However, it's the strict system and structure that enforces the 'calm, and traditional values and order'. Wearing a metal belt? Won't get to the outcome you're looking for. The belt can be part of such discipline sure, but an overall system and rules need to be worked out with your parents in detailed discussion.

      I don't mean this as a personal attack against you specifically so please don't take this the wrong way, but I don't think it would be appropriate to take a conversation to email when it's regarding a child and what is or isn't acceptable behaviour. I think it's best if these conversations happen on the forum. Regardless of intentions, this could potentially lead to grooming and I think it's important that we are able to discuss these topics in the open, where differing viewpoints and opinions can be offered.

                Oh, none taken Sin - and this just seemed to me far outside of the realm of a belt Angelina…, and we don’t usually discuss discipline or strict spanking etc itself here. It might be helpful to put a historical section in the FAQ though, because while there are myths of medieval chastity belts, important perhaps to show that they were and are a modern invention, a few decades old at best.

                      I personally don't mind if it's discussed, but the admins/mods are responsible for that. I wouldn't say that's helpful in this case. If someone didn't grow up with it, i.e. doesn't know this style of education, it does more harm than good
