I absolutely do not. She thinks the opposite. Charismatic Catholic parents believe they will be held personally responsible for the sins of their children. The only defense before the Lord is to claim you did everything you could and they still rebelled. My mother won't stop trying to enforce my sexual morality as long as we're both alive.

Update for today: I've been belted for 25 hours, which is a record for me! Today is my first full day in the belt without a break, aside from a short check for inspection and cleaning. I'm getting used to it as I learn to work around it, though I'll be very happy when it's gone. Very little happened yesterday; we're both a bit behind on work so we mostly just stayed busy at our computers and spent the evening watching "Schitt's Creek." Just for @Foxies : we already agreed that Pru is in charge for the duration of this, but I was a little surprised at how easily I just slipped into letting her take the lead on what we did. I'm absolutely sure of what permanent belting can do to your mindset! And to anyone less doggedly stubborn than me, I can see a lot of ways it would be beneficial. I doubt Pru would ever want to be a long-term keyholder, anyway, laughs. (That one was for Laura and everyone else watching the show to see if I just give up and go fully chaste!) Tonight: tea with my mother, and tomorrow another break-free day if my skin keeps holding out.

One more thing: For the first few days I was insanely frustrated. That's started to recede in the last two days. I mean, I'm still aware of what my body wants and really aware of how much I can't access it, but it hasn't really been heavily distracting for a couple of days now. It feels like my body is just relaxing into the denial.
