I would like to ask a question, but I am not sure, whether this is the appropriate thread to do so. Please move it, if it isn't.

I would like to know your reasoning, if you do believe that every girl should wear a chastity belt, Why you think girls should be the ones locked in belts with somebody else (parents, father, husband) holding their key. There seam to be several different kinds of thought on this topic in the forum. There are consensual wearers/keyholders like @Ines and some of the more not so consensual wearers/keyholders. But all of them have to have some reasoning behind this.

Do you value virginity more in a daughter than in a son? Is it about girls needing more protection from the outside world? Or do you think girls are more prone to emotional choices and do not consider all the consequences, so you kind of want protect them from themselves?

Same question goes for masturbation. If you see it as something to avoid. Why do you consider purity of the flesh/mind more important in a girl? And why do you think girls need (some would call it drastic) help to stay that way?

I would be very interested if there some completely different reasoning I haven't mentioned.

you personally have more experience with female than with male chastity or
for women/girls, 'virgin' has a much more positive connotation in society than for men/boys.
