Sara2001 Yes in Germany any alcohol is legal that didn't come from a distillery. So beer and wine and things like that but not vodka, whiskey or other hard alcohol. For this you need to be 18.

I tried some beer and wine and champagne. I didn't liked the taste from any of it. It is not general forbidden, he just wants to give his permission and the allowed amount before I start to drink, so he can be sure I didn't get drunk. At least that's what he told me when I was 16. I never asked for it.

In my case,my parents often adviced me the maximum of alcohol I should drink,but the rule was not to be drunk.And I was not supposed to drink alcohol at parties before I was 18.

Mainly,for me,it is 2 glasses of strong alcohol or 4 glasses of less strong alcohol,or 1 glass of strong alcohol and 2 glasses of less strong one(even if they often remind me that mixing alcohols is not a good idea,which is right).
