Back in 1996, when I was age 38, I ordered a belt from William Jones, sold to me by the retail store in Upper Montclair, New Jersey. I first heard about it on the Real Personal TV talk show on the CNBC cable network.
When the belt arrived, I showed it to my mother and said, “I’d like to wear this for you”.
My mother muttered something about wanting to lock me in a car seat, and I could tell by the tone of her voice that she wasn’t just making a joke.
My mother thought the idea of the chastity belt was pretty crazy at first, but she eventually came around.
I said, “I thought you would be honored.” She said, “Well, yes.”
The belt made at least one trip back to the belt maker for alterations, but we were never able to adequately address the issues of sizing/comfort/safety.
My mom’s health started to decline, and went into an especially rapid decline after she was involved in a minor traffic accident in March of 1998. She passed away six months later.
More recently, I purchased the inexpensive, Chinese-made steel-cable belt on eBay (I actually own two of those, sizes XXL and XL), and I’m really very happy with that.
Sometimes I think I should move to Texas, so that @Renita ‘s mom could be my keyholder too.
