I guess the rules about masturbation depend on the opinion of the wearer about it.She may think purity ring means she shouldn't touch herself either,but she may think it only mean she should not be intimate with someone else until married.

I agree there should be consequences,but I think there is some reasons that may make a woman wearing this ring break her promise,even if she planned to keep it until her wedding.

      I'm not sure it should be punished by parents,even if I don't know who else should do it.As I wrote a few times ago,promising to wear a chastity belt voluntarily if we break our promise could be a good motivation...At least,it would add more seriousness about this promise,even if I think it is a bit extreme.

                                          i think it also depends a lot on which circle of friends the girl comes from, if there are other girls in the circle of friends who also wear the ring, it can happen, but if the friends do not know about the ring, they would not notice it
