Saintprudence
Actually, good that it's not only me that observed this.
The numbers of same sex female marriages in 2022 in NRW was low enough that the 18/20 year spec would rather nail them down. (sorry, I do deal in data professionally, and had to take a refresher uni class on stats in the past years, such assessments my brain does in passing.) Actually the numbers for the whole of Germany are low enough, and the "just 18" criteria so specific and atypical, that it would almost perfectly identify them in the whole of Germany (if not Europe).
Lucky for Angelina German authorities take their GDPR seriously, and since the 1990s marriages are not announced in any public way. So I think the probability would have been against 0 of someone showing up, if the weirdo didn't have by happenstance a linkage to the venue. (Possible, but highly unlikely.)
(The more cynic way is that German public administration is so medieval, that they wouldn't be able to automatically report the data upstream, so they only report statistics. Austrian civil registry offices can access data from other Austrian civil registry offices online, you can get in Vienna a totally authentic birth certificate for a kid that was born years ago in Vorarlberg, been there, done that.)
Because of the cynical take, I think that even all plots to get more detailed data in this area are prone to fail, the German authorities simply don't have the data set. Isn't it beautiful when the principles of the GDPR, design to avoid capturing and collecting data in the first place is proven so effectively to work?
Now, sadly, my brain continued to try to solve the puzzle (the senior data scientist), and I've found a probable (as in statistical) way (assuming Angelina has been posting correct identifying details), but I'll mail Angelina only after their honeymoon, to sensitize her to the topic. And by the nature of the analysis, it would only work after the marriage, hence no weirdo at the ceremony π
One last warning, when I post identifying details about, expect, especially if they are very identifying, white lies, e.g. substitutions with something that is equal for the discussion at the moment.
(and funny it's sometime very hard to assess from the outside what is highly identifying.)
