I see other reason. If she is a virgin he can form her sex life as he see it fits and to his liking. And if she hardly knows anything about herself and about sex, he can tell her everything that is supposed to happen in a marriage in bed.

Joh maybe in the past. Now information about sex are so common that it’s almost impossible to miss them.
But I will not think about being virgin as a value as much as a personal life choose. For someone it can be more or less important, for someone else it’s irrelevant and for other can be a burden. Personally I don’t think at all that it qualifies the worth of a person. For me other things are important, this one is marginal.

Ines respectfully disagree. Love, not sex, gives transcendence to a marriage. It's not foundation at all. Love and hard work are the foundation of a marriage. Everything else are trappings.
Also, I have to add, you can foresee it, but you have no experience at all, while I'm immersed in it. Of course there is no fit it all, and what's good for me it's not what will work for you, but my opinion is that you have a somehow idealized vision. Marriage is a lot about everyday life, paying bills, and being able to keep the flame lit even if you are so tired that you can't remember your own name. Love and hard work.

Please, do not put maximalist with me because I am, usually, quite mild.
I just mean as general statment that to grow together into the sexuality is glue for the marriage.
A marriage can work without it? Yes, but it is an important nuisance that makes it easier.
I do not like so much the football, but at the end you are Italian and I am Spanish, so I will use a example: Can a team to win a title with a dumb goalkeeper? Yes, of course, but to have a good goalkeeper helps. A lot.
