I wanted to add my thoughts on this topic. I do have "contracts" with both @Susan and @Kate2 . We know that these are not to be considered legal binding contracts per se, but they are more like written agreements between us that spell out the duties and obligations for both keyholder and wearer alike.
Both of the girls know that I take the wearing of these belts seriously, and they know I appreciate the sacrifices each have made to wear them. Our agreements, which have been amended more than a few times, include everything from
- The number of times out to the belt per week (varies, but monitored)
- The amount of "me time" per month (1 hour)
- Supervision when belt is removed
- The process for exiting the belt permanently (2 week cooling off period to reconsider)
- Emergency situations when the belt must come off immediately
These agreements are kept in my safe with the keys. We do review them and will make changes when necessary. Both of us must agree, sign and date.
In order for this to be a success, rules must be followed by both sides. I believe written agreements are the best way to do so.
