I think the more important the airport is,the more risk there is to have bad experiences.

I drive manual since moving to usa. No one here drives them much. I drive because it is reliable and cheap car.

Angelina Both there are many cars that cannot be sold in the US and those sit in lots for years having never been driven. After a long enough period sometimes they are handed off to a car rental in a large group discount.

Used cars you can get from someone for very little. I think there will be many cars at 1/10th the price showing up especially if no one is driving far families may share cars.

Presently,I'm working from home,yes.

Otherwise I use public transport and some walk.

There is a lot of taxes on fuel in France too.
