Daphne corner time is VERY effective in my experience. My wife usually gives me ten or fifteen minutes and even that’s hard to handle for me. Just once she gave me 25 minutes (I was REALLY in trouble) and I could hardly bear it. I have no idea how anyone takes an hour or more at a time. Put yourself in a corner with a timer and you’ll find yourself regretting your failures soon enough!

Wise words. It's classical behaviorism in a pure form, and hence useful for modifying behavior and establishing habits, but I've noticed that it is a part of these relationships that fades over time.

I can't speak to corner time specifically, but in similar situations I've found dissociative meditation to be incredibly powerful. Take some deep breaths, close your eyes, and go to the happy place in your mind. However this may defeat the purpose of the corner time 🙂

And it sounds like self discipline is an important part of your serious techniques. Doesn't that consume a lot of mental energy? Do you have challenges managing your energy levels?

Thanks for sharing. If the intent is to calm you down, I suppose it does not defeat the purpose! My wife and I have discussed using corner time (thanks for the idea forum friends!). It's on the metaphorical table now, but she has yet to invoke it. Based on your experience, I may mention the utility of using it to calm down tense situations.

gwen self discipline takes a lot of mental energy at first, but after a while it pays for itself in recharging energy. Example: I’m a big procrastinator. I’m constantly rushing to get out of problems I made for myself by that. In the last year I’ve largely eliminated that problem, and it relieves SO much stress. Taking on an orderly, controlled life is easier than always panicking! I’ve enjoyed calming myself down.

A lot of the discipline I might suggest to daphne is pretty heavy-duty, but that’s also what’s she’s going for. Nothing she does could be as harsh as a keyholder enforcing it. And if all she does is learn to be organized and have better posture, that’s a win!

Because sexual inteecozrse still is possible in a different way ... oral for example..
It would be totally unfair of course to have such a social law ... because then females were able to masturbate. So for cost efficience it would be better that way, but for fairness both would have to wear full gear... just that it would be umfair on a different level then, because the females would have to wear more equipment.
