As I noted on another thread, Easter was my first time in a church in a very long time. Although I'm no longer observant, my time away has given me much more pleasant feelings regarding the church and what it stands for. It probably helps that I'm surrounded by a much more loving and supportive family now than I ever was back then.
My wife jokes that at the rate i'm going, I'll be all the way back in before the year is out. I tell her she had better hope not, because if I actually once again embrace the Church's very specific teachings about masturbation, I won't be the only one in this house in a belt for very long! 🤣 🤣
