the overall situation compared to the time before my Mom and stepdad got engaged improved drastically. in regards of money, housing, friends, school and going out. the positive things are much bigger than the negative ones. I'm actually more proud than ever before and I don't feel less free except that one little item around my waist, but I try to see it as a symbol of belonging to a new family which makes it easier. I hope I make at least some sense.

climbing stairs can be difficult if the chain length is too short, even impossible. therefore, you must be very careful, hold on to the banister and your mother must adjust the length accordingly

why should tying shoelaces be a problem ? sit on your bed, bend down and tie your shoes
