As a native English (US) speaker... I can say using Daddy vs. Father at 12 or 13 might be unusual, but not unheard of. However, more common would just be Dad vs either of the above.

this is just too general for me, a forced wearing is not acceptable for me with a 12 year old, a voluntary one would be acceptable if the mental maturity (and this is very different with 12 year olds) is given.

I don’t think that’s true. I have a lot of responsibility with not only school but farm
work. I’m not as mature as an adult but I think I’m more mature and able to make good decisions then many girls my age.
