Take account that further nice, they have to be good shoes.
In cheap heels, and sometimes some of them are beautiful, soil bends because does not hold your feet well, and pain is terrible.
Heels should not hurt more of necessary.

i will wear the shoes only once for a maximum of one hour, after that never again, i don't think that quality is very important 😂

Yes it is, you can buy a nice cheap skirt, you will wear it, you will wash it twice, and you will have to change it, no more problem, but in heels, if quality is not good 1 hour is enough to excruciating pain.

I do not, Zara or Primark have cheap and nice clothes, but you have to accept is not very good fabric.

I don’t think either are tourture devices.

I have not tried thigh bands for more then a few min, but I have tried heels, a lot. If you buy decent ones and not junk they are not bad once you get used to them. I wear at least 4 inch heels daily.

I like high heels(but am not allowed to wear these often...),but thigh bands are awful.

In my case,at first,thigh bands were used as a punishment.Since I've finished my studies,and may have to stay alone at home for long duration(when not working or working from home),it is used as a way to make me less able to fight my belt,too,if alone at home long enough,and if I haven't planned to go out.

Katie But I havn’t seen locking heals that were not from some fetish site anyway.

Probably as it would only be used as a fetish.
