Angelina yeah... they really are very expensive. Also the belts... 1.200€ for a metal stripe, a methal bowl, pipe and cable... you could get this in the construction store for like 50 max.

It's like weighing a car and calculating the price per kilo of steel. Machinery and all knowledge must also be paid for, and if you have it as a company, you need a profit to be able to get a salary for the work.

a very short update on my driving licence plans. our driving schools will be open again next week. the theory lessons will initially only take place online, but if i have another one or two weeks of theory, i can finally practise driving. i hope that the driving schools will stay open, then i will manage to have my driving licence by my 18th birthday 😃

Angelina Well, on privatly owned ground it's legal... here modt people practice on a small way in a forest owned by a buddy ... or just at night on the street if you live on the countryside.

Should something happen, it is better to do so in a new, safer car, than something old that lacks the help systems on modern cars.

oh, old models make so much fun to drive! They give you a very pure feeling of driving that you definitely can't get from normal cars. The extremely slight vibration, the sound of the engine that you can still hear, the very direct steering, the shifting... it's just pure driving while modern cars don't give you such a feeling. I've driven VW, Merc, BMW and Opel so far and the best driving pleasure I get from my old 1998 Mercedes or from one of my dads classic cars ... Opel Commodore, even the small Ascona give you way more driving pleasure as modern cars. Sure, all that new installations modern cars have are nice, especially something like semi-automatic driving... but still I like old cars way better as modern cars.

for people who love cars and their characteristics, it is certainly an experience. for me, a car is a utilitarian object, i.e. something that should be as practical as possible, and newer models have more practical functions than older ones.

No, you were referring to the fact that driving on the road in Germany is not allowed if you do not have a driver's license.
Driving on private property is allowed, as you noted yourself.

Well, that's not totally right. You do gat a provisoric drivers licence ... it's pink and DIN A5 sized... you get it after you made your final tests at your driving school... she only has theory lessons now. As soon as she's done with the theoretical and practical driving test she will get it (I assume) till she's 18 years old. As soon as she turns 18 she will get her permanent drivng licence.

that i would be allowed to drive without a licence for BF17 would be new to me, as far as i know i have to get a licence for that too, it just says that i can only drive with my father until i am 18.

by the way i didn't want that because my father and i would probably discuss all the time what is right and wrong when driving and when i am a beginner i would rather concentrate in peace

Max9 yes, it is, but only as long as you have already made your driving license.It is illigal to drive without a driving license at any age, not matter who is sitting nwxt to you.
