That's true ... but... I just miss the sound ... you can't rev an electric car and I judt miss the feeling witg them... without sound it's just only half as much fun for me...
Cars like a Rollys Royce I do prefer to be pretty quiet, but a sports car or a normal car I wabt to have it make some sound.

Yes this is correct. I have the L plates to do this, just haven't got started yet. Need some lessons to start with then can just finish the logbook with my parents. For the P license you need to have the 100 hours finished and be 17. Here we can drive -without adult- from 17, don't have to wait till 18. Restrictions on the P are no alcohol at all and only one passenger at night time.

Jen That's L plates from 16 and more than adult - they need to have had a licence for a long time. At 17 we can get P plates which means you can drive by yourself.

We have a similar system, only one year later.

Yeah, once... But it's not my thing... I know, it can do funny things, it has a dance mode and so on ... but seriously ... that's judt rubbish. The only good rging it has is the semi-automatic driving, but a BMW can do about the same...
And you don't need to disassemble the whole car after about 2 / 3 years to change the battery for an enormous amount of money... I prefer to have a car that lasts nearly forever. In my family we even have cars from family members who passed away, as well as brand new ones...but we don't just throw half of them away after some years...

Are you sure they would not tell you,when they're ok for you to drive,something like:"if you wear it,we would pay for your driver's license and your first car"?

It seems a car is "common" to convince a daughter to wear a chastity belt,some people have mentioned it.

In France,people who have recently get their driver's license must put a "A" sticker,and they've less "points" during a few years.

Yeah I know but only a few in my year group drives already. I'm one of the oldest so it doesn't feel like I'm missing out.

Follow your feeling is the best what you can do for yourself.
I got my driver license with 20 and I know many young people here in Germany they have no rush to get the license.
Driving can be fun and you have more opportunities but also more responsibility. Only you know how important each for you is.

I paid for my driver's license myself and had worked for it during the vacations. It took a few years after I had it until I could afford my first car.
You are in a lucky situation that you get it from your father. Am am happy for you.
