Laura In Russia we have good motto
"If you are in IT,you don't need sex and your private life". In automatisation (where I work) it is really true. When you launch some MCU or something electronic -you so tired, so only thing you want is a sleep.

Laura Hmm, I work about 6 months only, and I study at university at the same time. And yeah,I work 4 hours per day. Some people (teachers for examples) work 8 hours per day, 5 days per week and they get salary like me. And all,that I said was about electronics, not only my work. Surprise-surprise, I am doing other things at home,not only playing in computer games. I teach electronics at home because it is my hobby. It is exiting,when you build D-latch on transistors and ot works!

And,of course, besides small salary I get experience, which can be used in wide variety of ways. Also, I have perspective to get salary about 1000$ only in two years. You may laugh,but in Russia it is big salary. After university ( in 5 monts) my salary will be about 500$. It is big salary in Russia too, especially after university.

Laura According to statistics,median salary in my region is about 450$. But in reality this is about 300-400$. And yeah, it is good in Russia,when you get the median salary from statistics. It is hard to understand for non-russians, but it is our life. And my little salary with current conditions isn't small,as it can be presented.

Laura Sorry,my bad with translation. Average price per square meter is about 1000$. About houses and land plots - I can't say. For houses median price can vary from 80000$ to 160000$. I don't accurate information about it. It is about my region. In Moscow and St.Petersburg multiply prices to x10

Laura It is very hard to find a 1000$ job in Russia. Programmers in my region can go to job with this salary after 3 years of programming,no one need a newbie. In non-IT spheres find this job even harder. Especially if you don't have relatives in this spheres.
All I said works in my south regions. In Moscow and St.Petesburg it is easy to find this 1000$ job,but the real estate two to four times more expensive. For example, flat in the center of my city
in new house costs 23000$. Same flat in Moscow on the outskirts of the city, from where to get to the center about an hour and a half, costs about 100k $. At the center this flat can costs about 190k$. Fell the difference.
